If the leaks were 'significant', ALL producers at the North Slope would have vested interests in shutting down the pipe, capping losses... I have a strong feeling that BP is pushing the issue to the fore... in order to bring force to telling EPA Thru the Looking Glass Fairies to 'put it where the sun doesn't shine'... Just another opinion, to be sure...
