(most common)-The only one that makes sense - a car wash.
Sonic - don't know that they have any other version than car hops, then need to tip them.
Bank/food - always try to go inside and not waste gas sitting in line.

I use the bank drive-through quite a bit as well as the drive-up ATM, but the last was the big blue drive-up mail box. My son is in the service so I forward his mail to wherever he happens to be that way. I rarely eat food from "restaurants" that have a drive-through.

Really dislike drive thru's and always have. Besides wasting fuel, it sort of offends me on some level to not be bothered getting out of my car to do a simple task, especially when the line up for the drive-thru is often longer than inside. Same reason I try to walk or bike my kid to school whenever I can; I don't want to become overly car dependent, and I don't want to teach her that.

Car Squash - Drive in, watch as your car is squashed. Cool. But you can only do it once with a car. They give you a key ring with a chunk of your auto. What could be better.

Fly-in liquor store at the air park. Fly in, tank up, load up, tank up and fly merrily on your way through the very friendly and happy skies.

It is easier and faster to park your vehicle, shut it off, use your legs and get what you want in the store, bank, or whatever. Less gas and faster. Who the heck uses a drive through for booze? That is insane. How lazy can you be? No wonder most North Americans are FAT.

Here in Canada we don't have much in the way of drive-thru's. So the one everyone uses most are the coffee shops and banks. Where we live, there are no drive-thru's at the banks in this area either.

Drive-thru vomitorium. Just drive up and deposit your barf in the handy trough-way and then on your way. How convenient.
